Four Broward County beaches are closed after health officials found a high level of bacteria in the water. Coming into contact with the water could cause serious gastrointestinal discomfort.

Those beaches include:Hallandale Beach Boulevard at A1A -  Hallandale Beach
Custer Street at A1A - Hollywood
Harrison Street at A1A - Hollywood
Dania Beach at the Pier - Dania Beach


The Health Department will retest the waters for the bacteria and the results will be available late Monday.

Until then, they suggest everyone stay out of the water.
